The Tour
Our
tour allows you more freedom, as you travel from Dublin to
Rathdrum in County Wicklow by train*. Along the
way you'll take in the breathtaking
views along the East Coast to Rathdrum, and on your arrival
your tour bus will be there waiting to take you
on an unforgettable superior tour of "The Garden of Ireland".

Train
departs Connolly station in Dublin at 7.26am, arriving in Rathdrum
station at 9.00am. You travel south along the East Coast
to Rathdrum station.

You
arrive at Rathdrum
train station where we commence the journey to the world
famous Round towers at Glendalough, allowing plenty of time to
explore the monastic settlement and take in the
audio-visual presentation and guided tour*

Morning
coffee* is available at the nearby hotel.

Our
journey will then continue to the quaint village
of Avoca (Ballykissangel), where you can visit the original
Avoca Handweavers shop to do a little shopping and lunch*
in their
fabulous cafe.

We
then head north again to visit "The Meetings of the Waters"
made famous by poet Thomas Moore.

We
continue our journey back to Rathdrum just in time for the
train to Dublin.

You
depart Rathdrum station for Dublin at 2.49pm arriving in
Connolly station at 16.03pm.
